The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning is tasked with providing extensive services with direct bearing on every home, commercial outlets and facilities and touches
on every citizen, expat residents and employers.

The application for commercial registration is relayed electronically by the MOIC to the
Ministry of Municipal Affairs.

All business activities require a license or approval by one or more Government Authorities prior to obtaining the commercial registration. In such cases, the MOIC may only grant a CR when the investor meets all licensing and approval requirements set forth by the relevant authorities.
